Just because you have an empty corner, doesn’t mean you can’t make it both beautiful and functional. Instead of adding a traditional hutch, which would have been large and likely very heavy to fill the corner, I decided to create a beautiful traditional faux fireplace, which could hide chords, serve as a focal point for the mounted TV, and provide a fun and beautiful design element to this historic property. Crafted out of MDF and beautiful trim, this faux fireplace created a timeless, functional, and beautiful design edition to this home.
